Bellion is the Grand Marshal of the shadow army and the strongest shadow in existence. He was Ashborn’s commander for eons before Jinwoo was born.
He is also the one shadow in the entire series that Jinwoo did not create.
The Thing That Makes Bellion Different
Every other named shadow follows the same pattern: Jinwoo defeats something, extracts it, and adds it to the army. Igris, Beru, Tusk, Iron — all of them.
Bellion was never extracted. He was already the Shadow Monarch’s Grand Marshal under Ashborn. He does not arrive because Jinwoo won a fight; he arrives because Jinwoo finally holds the authority he serves .

Bellion’s arrival is the clearest signal that the System was always a middleman. He appears only after the System is deleted and Jinwoo takes full Shadow Monarch authority — which tells you the army was never something Jinwoo built. It was something he inherited, and the levelling interface was the process of qualifying for it.
When Bellion Appears

Bellion does not appear until the final arc. This section covers events far beyond the anime.
He is introduced in chapter 167, extremely late in a 179-chapter story. The moment comes after the Beast, Frost, and Plague Monarchs have already been defeated, and after Jinwoo has taken on the Shadow Monarch’s complete abilities.
He descends from an airborne gate with an entire army behind him. Not reinforcements Jinwoo requested — a standing force that had been waiting.

Beru challenges him almost immediately on being introduced. Bellion wins comfortably — the fight is short and the gap is not close.
This is deliberate. Beru had been the army’s ceiling for over sixty chapters, and the quickest way to establish what Bellion is was to have him dismantle the strongest thing readers already knew.
Loyalty and Character
Bellion has never doubted a decision made by either Shadow Monarch. He served Ashborn without question and transferred that loyalty to Jinwoo without hesitation — and later notes that his two masters share the same traits, concluding Ashborn chose correctly.
He believes combat ability is the most important quality a person can have, which produces one of the sequel’s better running jokes: he argues with Igris that Sung Suho should be learning swordsmanship instead of attending school.
